Passion, secrets, history and intrigue from a great storyteller
Welcome to my page! I write great historical and historical/contemporary fiction novels set in exotic locations such as Paris, Shanghai, Barcelona, Florence and Moscow. My books have been published around the world including in the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Germany, Hungary, Turkey, Brazil, Poland and Norway, as well as Australia.
There is nothing I love more than immersing myself in a page-turning story of passion and intrigue, especially one that takes you deep into another culture and time – and that’s exactly the kind of story I like to write! Someone once said that you need a passport to read one of my books. I hope that you lose yourself in my stories and enjoy the journey thoroughly!

Hi My Lovely Readers!
I’m thrilled to reveal to you the cover and description of my new book, The Invitation! (To be published in Australia and NZ November 1, 2018). This book is a new direction for me. It will still have the exotic locations and historical background that my readers enjoy, but rather than a saga it is more a story of the intense relationships between sisters and mothers and daughters. There are lots of twists and turns and secrets and all the things you love! I would describe it as ‘Gilded Age Domestic Noir!’
You can pre-order The Invitation through your favourite bookseller now.
Thank you for all your support – love, Belinda XX
